LIC’s Dhan Rekha is a Non-linked, Non-participating, Individual, Savings, Life Insurance Plan available with payment of Single Premium or Limited Premium Payment terms of 10 years, 15 years and 20 years..

Premium Payment Mode:

• Single Premium or

• Limited Premium

Term / PPT : 20 /10 , 30 / 15, 40 / 20

Age Range for Single Premium :

• 8 to 60 for term 20 years

• 3 to 50 for term 30 years

• 0 to 40 for term 40 years

Age Range for Limited Premium :

• 8 to 55 for term 20 years

• 3 to 45 for term 30 years

• 0 to 35 for term 40 years

Minimum Sum Assured : Rs. 2,00,000 and thereafter Rs. 25,000

Maximum Sum Assured : NO LIMIT (Depending upon Income)

Policy Benefits :

On Death : Death Benefit payable on death during the policy term after the date of commencement of risk shall be “Sum Assured on Death” along with Accrued Guaranteed Additions; where

• For Single Premium, “Sum Assured on Death” is defined as 125% of Basic Sum Assured.

• For Limited Premium, “Sum Assured on Death” is defined as the higher of 125% of Basic Sum Assured or 7 times of annualized premium.

On Survival Benefit:

• Policy Term 20 years : 10% of the Basic Sum Assured(B.S.A.) at the end of each of 10th and 15th policy year.

• Policy Term 30 years : 15% of the Basic Sum Assured at the end of each of 15th, 20th and 25th policy year.

• Policy Term 40 years : 20% of the Basic Sum Assured at the end of each of 20th, 25th, 30th and 35th policy year.

On Survival At Maturity Time :

On the life assured surviving to the end of the policy term, “Sum Assured on Maturity” along with accrued Guaranteed Additions, shall be payable.

Where “Sum Assured on Maturity” is equal to the Basic Sum Assured.

Surrendered Value :

• Under Single Premium, the Policy can be surrendered at any time during the policy term subject to realization of the premium cheque.

• Under Limited Premium, the policy can be surrendered provided at least two full years’ premiums have been paid.

Loan : Loan facility shall be available under the plan.

 

Income Tax Benefit : No Benefit.
